Michael E. Fischer It is a tough time. As a Department we worked with our budget targets and made significant cuts. None of these will be without consequence. We do, I believe, have a very good framework upon which we can build in better times. Difficult as it may be, it is the time for optimism. The Department of Cultural Affairs is working constantly to make sure our shrinking resources are well and strategically placed. Let your legislators know that you support DCA and its mission! Only together can we overcome the constant negativity which we read and see everyday. We must be proactive and bring our State back to health. The Department’s mission can play a big part in improving our constituent’s attitudes and giving them hope! |
