The Internet provides many valuable sources of information, but some information on the Internet may not be accurate, complete or current. Nevada State library and Archives has reviewed the web pages on our site, but has not followed every link or viewed every page at each web site. Internet addresses on this list can led to any and all World Wide Web sites. It is important for parents to guide their children's Internet use. The Library is not responsible for information available on other sites.

Kids' Privacy on the Internet

The Nevada State library and Archives does not collect personal information from kids and does not release information on the use of our Internet resources. The Nevada State Library and Archives asks for personal information, such as name, address, and telephone number in our Ask a Librarian or Ask an Archivist section only to better respond to the questions. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the American Library Association have created a guide to help parents: "Child Safety on the Information Highway" and "The Librarians' Guide to CyberSpace for parents and Kids".
