Find Historical Averages
Welcome to the Nevada SHPO's 'Find Historical Averages' tool. This tool is meant to help genealogists find averages of groups of people from historical census data. If you would like to start right away, use the form to the right to start. You can select specific years or all available years.
On the following pages you will be able to narrow your search by name, sex, or even occupation. Start by using the radio button on the left side of the next page to select the field that you would like the information for. Then you can narrow the results by entering information into the other textboxes and menus to the right of the radio buttons. Currently we only provide the maximum, minimum, and average of the selected field but we hope to expand this in the future.
If you have questions about some of the results you are getting, try refering to our Help section for explanations. If there are still questions feel free to contact staff and see if your question can be answered.
